In the late 1980′s, owner Cathy Smith realized that there were no dedicated marine lighting manufacturers or distributors. Back then, most lights installed on “boats” were stock residential lights with bulky, unattractive controls and electrical outlets. DRSA was founded in 1988 to supply the marine industry with a clearly superior marine grade alternative to these products.
